Shalu Garg

Founder & Chief Therapist

Shalu is a behavioural therapist who has trained and worked with children and individuals in the USA. Today as the principal therapist and co-founder, she is in charge of the counselling, screening, curriculum and assessments. As the Chief Therapist, she delivers in-house training and mentors the staff. Her role also includes goal setting for the children and adults, data gathering and analysis, and behavioural therapies related assistance and guidance to the staff on an everyday basis.

Pragati Ogal Rai


Pragati is a technologist, a published author, a passionate advocate of diversity and inclusion, and a firm believer in using tech for good. She brings her rich 20+ years’ experience with corporate giants like Motorola, PayPal, Deutsche Bank, and Microsoft to now using tech for good. Her drive to give back to the community and make a difference lead her to join hands with Shalu in founding ViryaDewdrops.

Gangothri C.R.

Head, Academics

With over 20 years of experience in primary elementary and preschool education. Being a highly adaptable and versatile educator, Gangothri had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of children including those with learning disabilities and autism. As a child who grew up with a learning disability herself, she is motivated to deliver the best educational opportunities for students with similar abilities. These experiences have helped her blossom into a well-rounded and compassionate individual who takes each student’s unique goals, needs, and interests into account to create effective lesson plans and activities to accommodate them.

Manisha Alpesh Mehta


A seasoned life sciences counselor with over 18 years of experience, Manisha is a passionate believer in people and their potential. She has counseled, coached, and has held numerous workshops for hundreds of students and their parents.

Devyani Almeida

Core Team Member

Devayani is a product-loving, consumer-obsessed, apparel and retail leader from the corporate sector associated with organizations of international repute.
An empath and believer in a world of equal opportunities, she chose to make people, over product and task, a part of her growth strategy.
After two decades in the corporate sector, she now wishes to peruse opportunities in the development sector to be able to reach out and impact the lives of differently-abled and less privileged people in a meaningful way.
Her last workplace greatly influenced her on giving back to the community. “Being good and doing good” became a career path.
She has been a sponsor and cheerleader with SOS Children’s Villages of India for over a decade.
She has worked “A Hundred Hands” an NGO that works with traditional craftsman for the revival of dying arts and crafts, enabling livelihoods for the artisan community.
She looks forward to being authentic and helping build a world of equal opportunities for everyone and giving back to the community.
